Doesn't give me 30 minutes of ad-free music anymore

I feel like I’m being tormented with adverts to purchase Premium. Sometimes I watch 3 advertisements and I do not get 30 minutes of ad free music. Then 1 or 2 songs play and then the same advertisements again! I would not mind the advertisements if I did get the promised 30 minutes

Honestly this is bull. “30 minutes of uninterrupted listening” more like 5-6 minutes then a minute or two of ads. Either fix it or quit saying 30 minutes of uninterrupted listening. Yes I’m on an iPhone.  Yes my app is updated no my phone is not on when the ads are playing due to driving.

I don't subscribe to Premium so I don't mind the ads, they usually are batched in quantities of 4 to 6 at a time. What I totally hate and will not accept is the lie; "Thanks for watching/listening. Enjoy the next 30 minutes ad free."  B***s***!!  You give me one, maybe two, songs and then bomb me with ads again.  So my (and my fellow friends listeners) antidote to this pattern of lying is to boycott ALL those advertisers that you bomb me/us with. And notifying those advertisers of our displeasure with Spotify's marketing/lying policy. There will  be no sales revenue for merchants who allow Spotify to continue this misleading, falacious marketing practice. It's time for Spotify to get back to delivering on the promise of "the next 30 minutes ad free".

Kinda wild this issue has been going on for 2 years. I was on student discount, then the 4 years are up. Fine, sure makes sense. But I no longer work and am now short on money so had to cancel the subscription. Paying the increased subscription and Spotify still running an absurd amount of ads is bizarre. Your "next 30 minutes" is dumb; ads every supposed "6 songs" is a lie; and you are increasing the premium price for what? Money hoarders. Definitely looking into an alternative streaming source. I loved you Spotify, but you've killed it and not in a good way.

I keep getting the 30min ad free commercial but it's like after 2 songs it's making me listen to even more ads and I'm starting to keep screenshots of it doing it cuz I hate false advertisement

An ad played on my device at 11.20am and I heard "enjoy the next 30 minutes of uninterrupted music". I did not navigate away from the app nor press anything on the screen.
At 11.25am a Diamonds International ad played.... So I got 5 minutes of uninterrupted music.
No one else is using my account.
It appears a handful of people have reported this issue according to other community posts and it appears Spotify still hasn't sorted out the issue.
What gives?

SPOTIFY ARE FALSELY ADVERTISING.  IVE EMAILED THEM 16 TIMES ALREADY ABOUT THIS AND THEY REPLY WITH EXCUSES.  TO FALSELY ADVERTISE ITS A CRIMINAL OFFENCE AND ILLEGAL.  I SHOULD SUE SPOTIFY

I'm on the free Spotify option. When I start listening I get the notification ' enjoy the next thirty minutes of ad free music' , but I still get constant ads. Is there still thirty minutes ad free ?

I'm getting this issue too. I'm using the spotify app on my chromebook, I get much more frequent and repetitive ads than ever before. Just watched an advert which promised 30 minutes of ad free listening. I physically had the ad open whilst it played, then after listened to one and I repeat ONE song before it played another advert. This has happened to me multiple times, spotify is so so greedy!!

With normal spotify listening without the promised 30 minutes I still get ads on average every 3 songs and it's just making the platform unusable. It's usually 2 to 3 adverts that play in a row and it cycles through the same 5 advert for about a month before introducing 1 or 2 new ones. It's just gross and considering how much they charge for premium now It's honestly just greedy!!

I got an ad and at the end it said something like "now enjoy 30 minutes of ad free listening" i got 2-3 ads after one 3 minute song...like what?

Lets settle this now. 2 years later and still a problem! It's video with the statement of the next 30 minutes uninterrupted. Yes it's on the whole time. Yes it stays on the video. Yes it's on mobile. So the usual technical jargon does not apply here. You don't actually care to fix the issue otherwise your "proper team" would have fixed it already. At this point it's better to take you to court for false advertisement under a class action lawsuit! Either fix your ads or that will be my next step

Basically I am told I will get 30 minutes uninterrupted listening and a single song later, I get several ads. Please fix this as it has happened on multiple occasions in the last week, thank you

I always get a message saying that I unlocked 30 minutes of uninterrupted music and after two songs, it gives me commercial. I am listening on my phone

Apparently this is an old issue, but I am having the same problem. Ad plays saying that there will be 30 minutes of ad-free music after then either the ad immediately replays, plays a different ad, or plays a single song then plays an ad. Yes spotify, I am making sure I am not navigating away from the app, I did watch the ad all the way through, I did not click 'no thanks' or anything of the sort, and yes the app is up to date. Seems suspicious that this issue keeps arising and that premium users are also reporting ads.

Are the 30 minute ad free breaks only for premium members? Because I will sit through a long advertisement and then get told that I get 30 minutes of ad free music. But then after one song, sometimes two, I get an ad break. And the ad break is 4-5 minutes of just one ad after the other.

It is not playing after 30 minutes!

We get the promise; "now listen to your music 30 minutes add-free!" But after de first song, so after 3 orso minutes, the adds start playing. 

I know i have aa Free account and i don't mind the adds, but don't make a promise you can't keep.

I completely agree. Everytime i click on a new song, an ad will pop up. Idk if this is some new update, but i find it very annoying especially for people who legitimately cannot not get spotify premium, i get it spotify needs to earn money somehow, but it shouldn't make the whole app very annoying.
