On one of my folders the enhance button has stopped working and I get an error, I reported this to support via chat, but that was a waste of time all I was told to reinstall which I did and still the same. Amazon is looking so tempting at the moment and its cheaper.
Hi there @retepeven,
Thank you for reaching out to the Community. We'd like to have a closer look into this.
Can you confirm that you followed the steps that's provided in this article? There's some more steps to help thoroughly uninstall the app from your device, so if you haven't, we'd highly suggest it since the steps will make sure there's no old cache files causing this.
On another note, do you get this behavior on one specific device or multiple devices?
We'll keep an eye out for your reply 🙂
Take care!
Done all that, I am a very experienced user, It was only not working on one play list now the same error on all my playlists since reinstalling. As for the app on my phone it tell me that I am off line which is bull and even after reinstalling. So its not fixed by the weekend I will be taking my money elsewhere because I am sick of one fault after another. Its not my equipment, its not my WiFi, I should be getting a refund as not getting full service I pay for and not the only one with problem.
Hi @retepeven,
Thank you for your reply and confirmation. We're sorry to hear about this.
Can you let us know if you get the same behavior while using a different device?
Keep us posted.
Take care!
Yes it is
Hey there @retepeven,
Thanks for your reply.
Would you mind trying again with a different internet connection to check if the issue persists?
On another note, we'd suggest asking a friend or a relative to log in to their account in your device and see if the same happens using a different account.
We'll be on the lookout.
Let me explain something; I had 20 years as a network engineer, I spent years problem solving when it come to Spotify and the fault which I have you have been informed its gone bad to worse. I have been through it all and its still not working
So stop asking me stupid questions get your software engineers on the case and fix what I pay £10.00 a month for, which I promise you before my next payment is due and the fault is still probmatic I will take my business elsewhere and then take action against Spotify for breaching my contract for not giving me 100% service for which from research is becoming normal
Hi @retepeven,
Thanks for getting back to us.
We're only trying to figure out why this issue is happening on your end. The questions we ask are necessary, because we can't look into your account from the Community and troubleshooting through a remote environment, when you have only the user's info to rely on can be difficult.
We hope that someone with technical experience will understand the challenges, when a direct connection is not available. As the moderators here, we're just trying to help.
If you prefer, you can try contacting our Support team again through any of these channels.
Keep us posted.
Hi there @retepeven,

Oh look more stuff that's not working!!! Pray tell me this, if the Internet is not connected as per the notice how can I be on this community notice board? I have restarted, I have reinstalled and guess what it all comes down to the enhance yet again. Spotify is taking my money and failing to give me a full service, this breaches the contract, I am seeking legal advice on this as I am sick to death of being ripped off.
Hi @retepeven,
I know it must be tough when the you're not able to enjoy the app to the fullest because of issues like this one. As with every app and service, sometimes things get broken, but that's why we're here and trying to help.
After some more digging around backstage, it appears that multiple users are getting this error message when it comes to the Enhance feature.
Could you provide us with the following info:
We'll pass this on to the team who are working on this. The more info they have, the faster it might get fixed.
Looking forward to your reply.
Somethings get broken eh!! This has gone on to long.
Spotify version 8.7.8.1206
ANDRIOD V8
AGS2 L09 HUAWEI MediaPad T5
This is the very last time, I am no longer putting up with this, no excuses, no sympathy from Spotify, you have breached my contract, you have been taking my money for a substandard service, it breaches the sale of goods act.
Hey @retepeven,
Thanks for the info.
We've passed this on to the team investigating this issue.
We'll let you know here as soon as we have more info.
Cheers.
Well forget it, once my next payment is due I will be going to Amazon, did their trial, no middle men, talk to someone who knows what they talking about not expecting 'community' advisors, who really don't know. Also if Amazon stops working they compensate you unlike Spotify who don't care.
Hi again @retepeven,
Thank you for getting back in touch with us.
We're super sorry to hear that you feel this way. Rest assured that we've passed on this information to the right team and it's being looked into.
If you have any questions or need further help in the meantime we're always one post away.
Take care!
