Filtering Issues in Playlists

Whenever I try to filter songs by artist, instead of playing the next song by that artist, it is just playing the next song on my playlist/liked songs list. For example, if I filter my playlist/liked songs list by Odesza, and I click on one of their songs, instead of playing the next Odesza song that I have saved, which was a few months earlier, it'll just play the next song on that playlist, unfiltered. This is happening both on my Android device and Dell laptop. I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling the app. But that did nothing. Not sure how to fix. Please help.

It was reported and they said they won't fix it.
