My Question or Issue
I can’t unpin playlists in order to pin new ones. I can’t find anything that refers specifically to iPhones. I’d appreciate any help! Thanks!
Hey @Cat400,
Thanks for reaching out!
You should be able to unpin a playlist by either holding your finger on it to open its options or by swiping it to the right 🙂
Try it out and let us know how it goes! We're here for you if there's anything else in the meantime 🙌🏼
Hello Vasil! Thanks for replying. I have the iPhone 15 Pro Max, iOS 18.3.2. I tried what you suggested. It bring a menu with various choices but no option to unpin. I have a screenshot, but I’m not able at this moment to include it here. Thanks for any help you can send my way!
Hello @Cat400,
Thank you for keeping in contact and for the info shared.
That's an odd behavior as you should have the option available. So just to make sure we covered all the basics, would you mind confirming if you've already performed a clean reinstall of the app on your iPhone? If not, we'd recommend following the steps mentioned in this article.
Also, would you mind checking on a different device (using your own account) to see if it makes any difference? If you don't have another one available, you can borrow one from a friend or family member to test it out.
Lastly, you can use the option "Insert photos" () located at the top bar of the comment box. If it's giving any error, we'd recommend changing the format of the image and trying again.
Hope this helps, we'll be on the lookout.
Hi Oscar,
Thanks for your suggestions. I did the clean reinstall and I tried this on a different device. The only result from trying to swipe is a menu. There is no option to unpin.
I read the article and also I tried to change the photo but there is no option for that either. Kind of frustrating. With a clean reinstall I should have the version with the latest updates.
I have a VPN (Nord) running all the time but this should only affect accessing an app but not the functionality of it as I understand it.
Any help is greatly appreciated!
Cat
Appreciate the cooperation @Cat400!
Just to be on the safe side, can you confirm what happens exactly if you go to Your Library > select Playlists and from there, hold on to the playlist you'd like to unpin and let us know what exactly you see, since you mentioned that a menu with various choices appears? Make sure that you remain in Your Library on mobile when you try this.
It's worth mentioning that the swiping motion (to the right) would work if the playlists are set to appear as a list in Your Library and not as squares.
When it comes to changing the photo, you should be able to change the photo of a playlist by first opening the desired playlist. More info you can find in this article.
It would be very helpful if you could also test to unpin/pin playlists on another device (desktop for example if it's possible by right clicking on a playlist) and let us know what happens.
Lastly, we would really appreciate it if you could attach some screenshots here so we can take a look at how things look like from you end and continue to investigate further.
Thanks and we'll be on the lookout.
Hey @Cat400,
Thanks for your reply.
Unfortunately, your screenshot didn't upload. Can you try again?
Also, you can add only one photo at a time, but you can add multiple ones by tapping on the upload button again.
Cheers,

My Question or Issue
I can no longer unpin my playlists. I try and unpin them and nothing happens. I can't pin any more playlists either since I have 4 pinned already, which is the max.
Hi there @kvtys,
Thanks for reaching out. We'll be glad to help you manage your playlists as usual again.
We haven't encountered such an issue ourselves thus far and we haven't seen any other reports about it. This might be some temporary hiccup and/or sync issue that may be causing this. Consider performing a full clean reinstall to clear this and force the app to re-sync with the servers. This will clear any damaged cache and repair the connection and allow you to manage the pins again.
Let us know how it goes.
