My Question or Issue

How can I delete files from Local Files on Android phone?  I wanted to play one downloaded MP4 audio file through Spotify, but it imported ALL the voice recordings from my phone as well as the one track i wanted!!  And there doesn't look like a way to edit/select and delete?  Help please

Hi there @Panic4,

Thanks for reaching out. We'll be glad to help you out with the local files.

On Android, enabling the local files option will show all compatible files you have stored on your device. So if you don't want specific files to appear, the only option is to remove those files from your phone.

If you'd like to be able to filter only by specific folders on mobile, then consider voting for this idea and sharing it around to help it gain traction.

Hope this clears things up.
