Nope, it's right there in my eight last listened to. I accidentally clicked on a random mediation podcast and now it won't go away and it plays at random like it's a podcast I follow. I just want it to go away, I am so close to just giving it a horrible rating so maybe it will go away but that would be unfair to the podcast.
it's gonna mess my stats, it's gonna be like I listened to the whole thing and it's gonna recommend me more like It. I dont want that
Spotify... im going to start being really annoying... we've been yelling about this for YEARS. im really good at being a menace 🙂
Hate this so much. Simple solution of hitting mark as played. Only makes it look like you like the whole podcast. And then next episode comes out and autoplays after episode of something i do like and follow
Then why do we pay for things we don't want?
Does Spotify just hate desktop users these days? Why isn't there an option to hide unwanted podcast recommendations, or better yet mute/block podcasts entirely? Why am I paying premium to be bombarded by shows I have no interest in and never wanted insight on in the first place? You listen to one podcast once out of curiosity and it'll haunt your feed forever. How is that considered reasonable? This nightmare service is getting worse and worse by the year. Fix it.
I’m trying to figure out how to block or delete the playing of a particular podcast. I had played it once, and I don’t necessarily agree with its views and I want to never see or hear it again and yet it is part now of my playlist and I can’t get rid of it. How do I block a playlist? I don’t see that option. It seems to automatically start playing when I plug in my phone into Apple CarPlay
'Not interested' option does not exist on IOS mobile or windows desktop. Customer support gave my the same instructions until I pointed out that it's not an option, after which they agreed that it's not possible. What is going on??
Same issue here, can't seem to get rid of useless podcasts.
Spotify, please listen to your (paying) users! At least some of us don't want to use podcasts, shows, or whatever. We want to listen to our music. You're force feeding us **bleep** and we are frustrated and in anger! Let us easily disable podcasts, or at least some shows.
Options not available,
Actually, he's not. The recommendations for me are only coming on my PC and not on Android or iOS but I checked on all 3 and the ability to remove or say "not interested" does not exist. Mind you, it's almost a year later so they may have been removied.
and Tucker Carlson.
This one worked for me, thank you!! What a relief!
By doing this you just give more popularity to the podcast, and when a new episode will be published you will see it again. I personally had a far right political podcast that popped up in my suggestions and it's autoplaying whenever I finished my own podcast. I don't want to listen to it, and yet there's no option to tell I'm not interested (web and iPhone). It's very frustrating

I don't get why Spotify would actively make the user experience worse by pushing content the user does not want.
I don't care how much you paid Joe Rogan, I'm not interested. Let me listen to the small niche podcasts I like, collect my money and otherwise leave me tf alone. The only thing you can achieve by pushing stuff on me is drive me off he platform.
Rant over...
Anyway the only option I can find is to report the podcasts you don't want to see. There is an option in the veins of "I dont like it". But a) that's not what a reporting system should be used for and b) I have not tested whether it actually does anything
