I dislike the mouse over buttons in library

I have a recurring problem with the large green triangle play button that appears whenever I mouse over content in my library. I'm trying to navigate to view my songs in folders, albums, or playlists, and instead of entering the playlist I accidentally click the huge green button that just appeared and stole my click. Whatever I had previously selected to listen to gets interrupted, and the playlist I didn't mean to click play on starts playing. Could the mouse over buttons either go away, or else the mouse over effect go away and the buttons be static? Thanks!
