Inaccurate My Playlist count?

My Question or Issue

I've been keeping count of all my custom playlists and I've got roughly around 1,261 so far (1,276 counting playlists from other users). However, recently when I create a new playlist, the temporary name given is "My Playlist #1,342", suggesting that I've got 66 to 81 playlists currently unaccounted for. I can't seem to find anything else in my Library to suggest what these missing playlists could be, and removing pinned artists or releases doesn't appear to do anything either. Also, my profile page only lists 1,222 public playlists, suggesting some of my playlists are set to private, also not giving me a clear answer. I should be on my 1,262nd playlist by now, but if I actually have 1,342 playlists total, then where would I be able to find the remaining 66 to 81? And if that number is incorrect, what could be causing the inconsistency?

Thanks for reaching out!

Just to confirm, do you think some playlists are actually missing, or is it just the number that seems off? Also, can you check if this happens across all your devices and on the Web Player too? Just so you know, private playlists still count toward the total — that only affects who can see them, not the count itself.
