Keep getting recommended the same songs

Solved!

Keep getting recommended the same songs

Why does Spotify keep recommending me the exact same songs in my recommended tab. nearly every single song on the recommended tab has already been suggested to me many times before and i've only had this account for a week. Is there any way I can stop this as I moved to Spotify thinking that it had a good recommended algorithm. Thanks!

Any solution? I want to find more recommended songs.

All Spotify is recommending to me for my playlist is videogame music. I refresh it and it just gives the same or very similar things. My playlist has 216 songs on it. The playlist is primarily metal or pop. I counted how much videogame music there was and there is 9. That is less than 4%. So why am I getting recommended only videogame music?

Since the Playlist Radio feature was removed, I've been using the "Recommended Songs" section at the bottom of playlists to find new music. But it's often bad, to say the least.

It keeps suggesting the same songs repeatedly. I don't understand why Spotify is so eager to make me listen to Calvin Harris - an artist I don’t like and have never added anything from.

My Question or Issue

Hi there. The list of "Recommended Songs" at the bottom of most of my playlists has been broken for months. It shows three or four recommended songs, then repeats them over and over. If I Refresh then it still just shows the same songs, repeated.

I've logged out and logged in and reinstalled dozens of times.

This seems like a product issue, not a login or "me" issue. When will Spotify resolve this?

More importantly, when will Spotify a better recommendations engine? The one it's used for years is terrible, and with new advances in AI I'd think it could try actually innovating into a much better way of helping users find new songs they really would like.

Hello to all.

I'm from Spain. In the "news" I only get Latin songs (a lot of reggaeton) and practically no international songs. So many Latin songs don't interest me (and even less reggaeton). And I don't know how change this situation.

I would prefer that in the new releases there were all kinds of artists, international and national, and not so much reggaeton.

I understand that it is what is mnost listened to in the discotheques, but not all of us have the same musical tastes or the same ages.

Every single thing you mentioned here is the same 100 songs in different orders and in playlists with different names in my experience. I have not discovered a single new song that I like using spotify. If anyone is reading this, you should use Qobuz (paid, better audio quality) or Youtube music (free) for actually new music. Spotify just seems to spit out the same songs at you in hopes you will just listen to them without complaining cuz that's what you've been doing so far... Their algorythm is built to keep you locked and to minimize new/small artists so you'll never discover new stuff
