How do you remove recommendations from your Liked Songs Playlist and prevent Spotify from adding songs again?

Thank you for reaching out to the Community and welcome. We hope you don't mind us moving your post out of the Chats section to one of our Help boards as it fits better here.

If the Spotify app is in a free tier on a mobile or tablet, and if you have less than 15 songs on your Liked songs, the app will automatically add similar songs to make the playlist longer. To prevent this, you just need to hit the heart icon (♥) on the tracks you love to add them to your Liked songs and replace the recommendations.

However, if you are a Premium subscriber, it's possible that you have the Enhance/Smart shuffle feature active. In this case, we'd recommend checking at the top of your liked songs to see if you have the Enhance button activated or to hit the shuffle button twice to see if the Smart shuffle is active. If so, turn them off and try again.
