Local files still showing up even with the normal steps

I installed Spotify before and added local files but then uninstalled.

Now that I'm back on Spotify, the local files are still there, tried to do the whole going to %appdata% and deleting the file but the file pops right back in and it's also showing up on my phone. Not sure what to do anymore.

In this case, you can go to Settings > toggle Show Local Files on > disable all the sources that appear there > toggle Show Local Files off > restart the app. 

Let us know if this does the trick. If not, can you let us know the exact make/model and OS of your device along with the Spotify version you have installed?
