Local files wont play

My Question or Issue

My local files quit playing today.  I uninstalled rebooted and reinstalled spotify.  I made sure local audio files was on and visible.  Logged out and logged in.  Deleted all my local songs, made sure they were all mp3 and then re added them all using iTunes.  If I go into the folder for local songs they all play but when in a playlist or liked songs, they wont play and if I click one to play it starts playing the very first song in that playlist that isnt a local file.

Thank you for reaching out here in the Community and for the troubleshooting you've done so far.

Could you please let us know if you have Smart Shuffle enabled when you try to play your local files? If so, try disabling it to see if that helps. 

In case the issue occurs only with Smart Shuffle, the behavior is currently being investigated in this other thread here - feel free to check it out and share your details so we can forward them to the relevant team who are looking into this.

Smart Shuffle was not enabled so I didnt have to shut it off.  I found an article on reddit where a person said to delete my playlist with the local files and create it again.  It worked.  I appreciate you taking the time to try and help.
