Local files

I know there’s a millions posts about local files but Spotify just recently updated their app and I have no clue if this is the reason why it’s not working. All my downloaded music is no longer in my playlist and everytime I try to get it back, it won’t even show up on my playlist anymore. I’ve read all the posts and none of the solutions seems be working. I even tried on my Mac and desktop but nothing.Anyone know how to fix this?

I have a similar problem. Songs in my local files won't play even after trashing and reinstalling Spotify on my Mac. I've had this problem long time ago I got tired of trying to fix it. Thought I could give it a try again now, but it's still the same. Songs show up in local files but not playing. Also on Premium plan.
