Hey @alliha,
Thank you for reaching out to the Community and welcome.
That's an odd behavior since the playlists made for you should stay the same between updates. So in this case, to make sure everything is up to date, we'd first recommend performing a clean reinstall of the app by following the steps in this article.
After that, we'd also recommend changing the sorting order of those playlist to "Custom order" or "Recently added" to see if it makes any difference. You can check how to Sort and filter your playlists here.
Hope this helps. Let us know how it goes.
Hi there!
Pardon the late reply, but I'm finally back after the holiday break and will try these solutions - if they don't work I'll update the thread with screenshots of it in action. Thank you, @OscarDC, for your help so far!
Same issue with my release radar, it gets updated 2 to 3 times a week with the order of songs reshuffled.
Have tried re-installing, as this issue has been going on for some time now, but it continues to happen.
Same thing happened to me. I was listening to it while at work and then I played it in my car on the way home and it was different. I listened to every song thinking when are there gonna be the good ones that I listened to a few hours ago? THEY WERE GONE AND I'M EXTREMELY DISTURBED AND SAD!
me too...shame. I had liked two of the first few songs and was circling back only to see they were all gone

My Question or Issue
I was really enjoying the discover weekly playlist for this week, but it changed midweek on Friday . I use Spotify on my Android phone and from time to time on my windows 11 laptop.
I tried logout/login twice in a row but it didn't work.
Same here, but I also noticed how on Friday some more changes happened. Some songs got replaced AGAIN.
I came here for the same reason just for my discover weekly to change for the 3rd time this week while reading this. It’s really getting annoying as I’ve missed out on a lot of good songs due to this
Hey folks,
Thanks for reaching out.
We can confirm that this week's Discover Weekly playlist got refreshed mid-week due to some backend maintenance. This can happen if there're some improvements we think we can make, but shouldn't happen often. Apologies if this has caused you any inconvenience!
Rest assured, the usual update schedule has not changed and you'll see your Discover Weekly update again as per usual every Monday.
Cheers,
Yo man thanks for the reply but it happened again today to me. It is the 3th discover weekly im getting this week and i dont like to miss out on new songs please make it so it refreshes on monday
Any progress on this issue?? It happens several times a week for me
Yeah, my Discover Weekly playlist has also changed 4 times the past 2 days lol. Tho, I suspect it's switching between 2 playlists every time I open the apps (Android and Windows).
Its like discover daily now
My Discover Weekly changed for the third time this week. Some songs stayed in the list, but most of them got updated.
It did it again, and I finally caught screenshots of it happening! As you can see, one is from friday feb 21st and the other from sunday feb 23rd. On friday I even hid one entry, as it's not really a song but an intermission in a longer playlist, but it's back on sunday!
edit: as you can see, the list is sorted by custom order and this is on a fresh spotify-install. (Last freshly installed beginning of february)
edit 2: IT HAPPENED AGAIN! This next screenshot is from monday 24th of february:
Recently, over the last couple of months, my Release Radar playlist keeps changing around, and it's very annoying. Have I accidentally changed a setting? I thought it was just adding new songs, but now it seems to be swapping them out.
I usually listen in half-hour chunks, but if the playlist keeps changing, it becomes useless for me. Can someone tell me what I’m doing wrong?

My Question or Issue
This happens constantly, with any playlist curated by Spotify. I've never managed to play an entire Spotify-curated playlist in one session, so I'm always playing them a few songs at a time, and in years of using the platform on many different types of device I've never encountered any behaviour other than this. The playlist has always been re-sorted and the order is always different when I go back, even if the same individual song that I was playing is still cued up in the same place. Spotify-curated playlists are constantly changing, in other words, from one day to the next, and if you like one, the best thing to do is to make a copy of it and then ignore the original!
Spotify staff, this is a very annoying bug, and anything you can do to fix it would be very much appreciated.
