When I opened the spotify app this morning to download any new episodes from my favourite podcasts in My Library, I found a note where my New Episodes feed would be to say this was now not part of My Library and that I needed to go to Home to find new episodes. So now I have to scroll endlessly through my home page to find the banner new episodes of podcasts, and then I have to open each episode individually to then click again to get to download them. Then when I go back to the homepage it takes me back to the top again and I have to scroll down the page AGAIN to find new episodes and go through the process each time. It was a stupid change and I don't understand why you would make it so much harder for users than previously. How is this beneficial?

No, you guys need to have your QA team and UI team who actually listen to multiple podcasts test it out.
Now it jumps to " my epsiodes" which can 5-10 mins of old episodes aka ads.
Or every hour we have to look through the whole list to see IF our favoritw podcasts posted.
Like right now... it randomly swapped me to a podcast thats 4 months old lol WHY

It's finally back! I'm still considering leaving the platform. No statement or anything. Just quietly put it back after hundreds of us voiced our concerns. Not sure if I want to spend my hard earned money on premium anymore. Who knows if they will remove it again. Leave it. Don't touch it. Unless hundreds of people are complaining about something, don't do anything. Stop it.
HMMMM?!?!? It appears that they... you know, "they"... those nameless villains we normally refer to as "them", that are almost always anonymously responsible for heartburn generating unsolicited "upgrades/improvements" such as "this"... mighta heard us grumbling over here and actually listened, as it would appear, for the moment at least (fingers crossed... knock on wood), My Library's "New Episodes" button has reappeared, and takes me to a place that looks awfully familiar to the destination we've all been longing for!!! I haven't fooled around in there enough to be convinced that all is well and totally back to the normal little slice of heaven I'm accustomed to, but it's a good looking start... he said with guarded hope, garnished with a tiny sprig of optimism!
New Episodes is back for me too. Can someone from Spotify confirm the mistake has been acknowledged, and we’re actually going back? If so, thanks for listening to your audience … and well done everyone who spoke up!
I HATE THIS CHANGE!!!! AND SPOTIFY MUST HATE ITS USERS FOR IMPLEMENTING IT! MIGHT AS WELL GO BACK TO USING PRIME

OP here. I haven't had mine reinstated. I spent the weekend becoming familiar with Pocket casts which I am enjoying. Think I might stick with it as it doesn't lag like Spotify
Same here (refreshed my tab in Firefox, tried updating on my iPhone) - no update of an "actual" fix yet...but I'll continue to wait a bit. Some of the other podcast options are kinda cool though, I'll admit...
So New Episodes is back, but Spotify still got rid of the feature that which allows users to see the three most recent unfinished episodes.
I'll be sticking with Pocket Casts. Why remove features and then when faced with outcry only return some of them?
And frankly, Spotify's horrific, corporate-gaslighting nothing responses and "solutions" have put me off. I'll be sticking to Pocket Casts until Spotify decides to stop removing features, offering no explanation, and hoping we forget the product is still worse than before.
Any meaningful explanation or apparent care for users might encourage me to return.

Yeah, I noticed it was back today as well. It's better than nothing, but I don't understand why they had to tinker with it. Maybe they'll change their name to Max next?
Now if we can just get them to let us delete bonus episodes...
