Opening Spotify on mobile wipes out "Your Episodes" playlist

My Question or Issue

Yesterday after using the Spotify mobile app to listen to podcasts at work, I came home to find, on my desktop app, that all 14 episodes from my "Your Episodes" were wiped. I manually added in all 14 episodes again. However, after opening Spotify on mobile again, all 14 episodes were gone again. I decided to only add one episode on desktop, then open the Spotify app on mobile. This, once again, wiped my "Your Episodes" playlist clean. Unless there's an explanation for this issue, please fix this bug. It will be difficult to provide screenshots as this involves two devices.

Thanks for reporting this in the Community.

 

We tried to replicate this on our end, but didn't get the same results.

 

In this case we'd recommend running a clean reinstall of the app on both your devices. Please follow the steps from this Spotify Guide exactly, as this will assure that all app data is cleared completely, before reinstalling.

 

Let us know if "Your Episodes" gets witped afterwards.

I have uninstalled and reinstalled the apps, and now on mobile I have finally gotten the option to keep played episodes. It seems like everything is in order. Thank you!
