My Question or Issue

So for no reason at all, shuffling music from specific artists on Spotify off the web browser directly  has now suddenly stopped including every song from that chosen artist. This is a very huge problem as now it just shuffles between either the most recent or most popular songs which is a real downgrade from before, cause now I don't have a wide variety of songs to listen to from any one artist. And I can't shuffle from the app either as that only includes some songs from artists plus songs from other artists they featured in, but not every song on that person's profile. This really needs to be addressed and fixed as it makes shuffling music at all entirely pointless and harder to listen to any and all great songs from artists in general.

To check on this behavior, would you mind checking if the Desktop app has the same behavior or not?

 

Also, could you confirm if this happens with all the artists you've tried or just a single one?

 

Lastly, would you mind checking on a different device (using your own account) to see if it makes any difference? If you don't have another one available, you can borrow one from a friend or family member to test it out. 

 

We'll be on the lookout.

I've checked on the desktop app and it appears to be an issue there as well. The issue also carried over on the PS5 Spotify app as well and this carries on over across all artists I tried this with when up until Friday morning, this never happened on a web browser on PC.

My Question or Issue

Pressing the Play button on an artist's page should play through the entire discography. Currently, it's shuffling through about 30 songs and then skipping to a new artist. I feel like it used to do this in the past, but has recently changed. Please revert it or institute this functionality.

We have reported this behavior internally as we could replicate it from different devices. We appreciate your reports about this. Any relevant update will be posted here.

 

Even if we don't have an estimated time for this to get resolved, we'd recommend keeping your Spotify app updated, so you don't miss any improvements coming your way.
