Playback quality of offline music should follow stream quality settings in online mode

My Question or Issue

Offline music is always played at greatest only with the quality it is saved in. Now that there is lossless quality available, which takes a lot of storage space on devices if saved offline, it would be highly preferable if Spotify could play the music according to the streaming quality settings, if network connection is available.

Example: I have a large playlist (thousands of songs) and I would like to have it saved offline with "decent" quality and reasonable use of storage, for the situations where there is no network available. But I would still like to play the same music in lossless quality whenever there is network available. Currently this is not possible because Spotify will always only play the saved quality at best.
