Playlist Problems

I have local files on my PC. I see them and their associated playlist just fine on my PC. I also see them in Spotify on my iPad, but there, all the songs are suggestions that Spotify thinks I should add to the seemingly empty playlist. These are MP3 files. Am I doing something wrong? I’d like to play these through my Sonos speakers, and as of now, I’m having no luck. What am I not understanding?
