Hello,
today i made a new spotify account. I got the family premium, but when i made my playlists i couldn’t edit it on my desktop. On my old account i can edit it. I can not find the solution. I would like to change my playlist pictures.
thanks alot,
Mario
Hey
Sorry to here you are experimenting this issue!
Make sure you have the latest version of the desktop app
When an update is available, a blue dot appears next to the menu button
in the top-right corner of the app.
If not try reinstalling the app that will guarantees you're rocking the latest version of Spotify.
Hopefully this helps you, if not tell me so i can try helping you furthermore!
Hey there,
thanks for the help!
I am still having the same problem... It looks like spotify does’t think i own the playlist, i can’t change the name either on the desktop (while i make the playlist on the desktop to test it out). Any idea how to fix this ?
thanks in advance!
Mario
I'm having the same issue. It's been happening ever since my desktop automatically installed the newest version of Spotify. The update changed a lot, including the way I add songs to playlists, including a picture in the playlist cover, AND deleting the friend feed! I can no longer select multiple songs at once and add them to a playlist, I have to individually select each song and add them to a playlist, SO ANNOYING! This new update is the worst and I just wish I could go back to the old version ASAP. Not being able to have my own picture as a playlist cover or change the ones I already have is totally taking away what I loved most about Spotify.
Please tell me there is a way to get the old version back on my desktop. 😞
Hi
I did everything, I downloaded the latest version, reinstalled it, use a different desktop... I can’t find anything else that could help my problem. The problem is that where the pencil should be to change the picture/name of the playlist there is a play button. Right clicking doesn’t work either as you can see. I think this is a glitch, hope you guys fix it soon because this is really frustrating for me!
thanks for the quick answer!

Hi @MariovdH,
Thanks for reaching out to us and for providing a screenshot. We appreciate you took the time to tell us what's going on.
We want you to know that we're often testing and launching improvements and new features. This means you might see something on the app your friend doesn’t, or get a new feature to try only temporarily.
To get more info about this, check this help article.
Tip: Make sure you always have the latest version of Spotify by enabling automatic updates on your device.
Hope this helps. Let us know if you have any more questions.
