My Question or Issue

Since last weekend my playlists containing several short podcast episodes do not play like a actual playlist anymore. The automatically stop after one episode and I have to select the next one on my playlist manually to listen. Why has this been changed? Do I have to adjust a setting to listen to them like an actual playlist again?

Hi there @nicolettevanw,

Thank you for reaching out to the Community.

Can you provide us a screen recording so that we can have a closer look directly from your end?

It would also be great if you can let us know which version of the app you're having.

We'll keep an eye out for your reply

Take care 🙂

Live, love, laugh and listen to music 🙂

iOS version 8.6.99

iPadOS version 8.7.2

on both versions same issue.

please not that sound doesn’t fully sync with visual in this screenrecording…

after starting the first episode on my playlist, I pulled straight to the end of the episode (to shorten screenrecording).

Hi again @nicolettevanw,

Thank you for your reply.

We haven't received your screen recording, Can you try to upload it on Drive or YouTube so that we can have a closer look?

We'll be on the lookout for your reply.

Cheers!

I’ll try again…

Hi @nicolettevanw,

Thank you for your reply and sharing the video!

Can you log in with another account, such as a friend's or a family member's to see if the issue persists with the same playlist? Alternatively, you can create a free account here, just make sure you're logged out of your own account before creating a new one.

Also, could you try creating a test playlist, add some podcast episodes and check if the same happens in that one?

Keep us posted.

I already know it is not just this playlists, because I have several, all the same issue.

Also the one I already created after last weekend, as a test for myself…

I will check wether I can find someone who can test my playlist on their account.

tested on my premium account again today, not changed any setting or what so ever. Now my playlists with podcast episodes do function like an actual playlist again.

Maybe something changed on your server-side?

Anyway, I am really happy the issue seems to be solved!
