Shuffle Multiple Playlists?

Would love to see a feature where multiple playlists could be shuffled together for a longer-play mix. Please?

Thanks for the feedback. I haven't done anything on the site for a while. I can see there's quite a lot of people using it though, so I'll make some updates to it over the next couple of weeks.

another feature to include would be a combination of your app and https://spotify-dedup.com/ to delete double tracks, as you put together multiple playlists doubles could the case a lot of time. But if the auto sync feature works and you can simple add or delete playlist from the playmix list that would already be fantastic. Great job ! thanks

thanks Modstore, tried to pm you , but you disabled that ! Doesn't seem that spotify will enable the mix folders soon, so your app is the best next thing ! The sync worked last time i checked. Adding a feature to simple add or remove playlist from a playmixify list would make it perfect for me? Also how do you delete a playmixify list? just delete it from spotify and then it's deleted on playmixify?

Syncing is all good daily now, found an issue where some weren't syncing. Can edit existing playmixes now too. Will do more updates when I get time too. Also I think my PMs should work now.

Great job! There are some other community ideas about shuffle playlist, i'll make some promotion for your code ! 🙂

One other update i just noticed that would benefit users : next to update a playmixify list, also a way to delete it completely. I could delete it in Spotify, but the list remains on the website of playmixify ! a button to remowe would be handy. guess lots of people want to create temporaly mixes and delete them soon later.

i have gone through a lot of versions of this. since liked songs breaks around 30k i cant and havent ever been able to use the library function so i hate that its what everything is based on and instead have a complex folder system to save my music with at least 100+ playlists. last i counted a few years ago song count is around 45k or something but god knows.

I want a collection. spotify is failing at letting us do this

for mobile, the only way to shuffle a folder is to make ANOTEHR playlist and add all songs from say "hard trap" and "emo rap" to it (just examples). And when i find new music. .... well.. i have to add it to like ten playlists. I hate this. i want to leave the service after being in the **bleep** alpha, thats like 16 years of nmaxing out**bleep**..

I hate apple and of course no corporation is better, i just dont want to move tens of thousands of songs and years of organisation just because such a simple feature and more seriously since your library feature is a joke that cant be used be people who listen to more than three artists... frustrated post i admit. but i should get fkn payed for testing out setups in your service almost. too stubborn. should have stuck to piracy back in the day when you were presented to me as an option and damnit i might just leave and go back to that and listen through apple music app. they seem to be aiming at power users and as much as i hate them and their products, if you cant provide i am tired now. since starred disappeared yhe library is just a nuisance. I unliked all tracks a few days ago since its just limited and show what i listened to about, 8 year ago.......

Playmixify is a life saver!   A million thanks, really.  It's so amazing to be able to shuffle my 20 favorite playlists.

As  @rikverstraete was mentioning, it would be super useful to have the following features:

• Manual Sync
• A fix for the Daily Sync:  a working Daily Sync is also very useful, specially when a some friend adds a song to a Collaborative playlist.
• Edit/update Playmixes:  Modifying a Playmix doesn't seem to be working at the moment.  Changes are not saved whenever we Add or Delete a playlist from an existent Playmix  (even though we click on the Save button).
• Create a Playmix based on a folder (or folder of folders):  some users have folders (sometimes nested folders) with lots of Playlists.  It would be awesome to create a Playmix by just selecting a Folder.

@McClausky the daily auto sync should be working now.

If you're able to pm me details of a couple of playlists you're trying to mix together where update isn't working, I can take a look and see if I can replicate it. At the moment, updating has been working from what I've tried.

Folders sounds like it could be useful, I'll add it to the list of features to add when I can.

I think i missed a lot in this thread as an addition to my comment above. i dont know what a playmix is or what a daily sync is so ill just sit down until i can shuffle folders on mobile py going into a folder and pressing play ^^ thats what i came for

also a library that can handle songs in the 10s of thousands. We are collectors! Some of us at least! let us collect or we might as well go back to piracy so that we dont risk wasting time setting up a library only for it to cap out at some arbitrary limit. Instead i just use A LOT of playlists and folders to divide music by genre and shuffle it on PC and make playlists that are just two different ones combined so i can do that on mobile (this takes way too long tho, id never have time unless i worked from home and only talked on the phone all day)

can attest. I think My longest one is four trees down and that shouldnt be necessary.
I am not making playlists for individual artists even tho the library wont accommodate that amount of music (30k+ at least 10k more spread out ive counted manually before :p) and seems to act similar to this old issue from 2014 https://community.spotify.com/t5/Your-Library/Shuffle-Multiple-Playlists/m-p/5315943#M17952)

I really want to listen to my folders mixed via mobile, including nested folders... just being able to hear all my 17 different psy/trance playlists at once would be so cool! And sure i can do this while gaming and sitting at my screen, but other than that i have to turn it on on the pc, then lay down in bed and enjoy the mix with my headphones, but if i leave the house then thats an issue since i cant start the Folder Shuffle again.

I wouldnt have so many lists if the library had worked 7 years ago. When starred went away i gave up on using spotifys various like/love/starred features, if after collecting 20k songs they just get split into two different playlists that now remain in a folder for retired playlists (it has like 60 playlists at least too.. it would be a awesome if the library function actually worked, but if you listen to more than one artist a day and discover new music daily it doesnt work well and only really displays irrelevant musiv for me right now (old stuff). I will clear away every single liked track and make it a "favourites folder". Shame, sice having artists and albums in your library was a cool feature. Spotify always half ass everything tho, sadly this is the outcome. As long as it works for people who dont really listen much and pay for their subscription spotify is happy. its not economical to have users like me for example..

not being able to use spotify like pandora is what's keeping me from transitioning to it, i don't listen to specific tracks/artists/genres.  I have everything added of all types and just have it shuffle it all which is so incredibly easy to do on pandora and seemingly virtually impossible on spotify.  have used playmixify yet because honestly i still haven't fully figured out how to use spotify

@modstore , Mark, i send some private messages, perhaps you are no longer updating the playmixify tool. 

- i found that adding a lot of playlist (eg 50 ) to a playmixify list is no problem, but afterwards editing to add or remove playlist from it, makes the website hang/gets stucked. Can't add or remove, does not refesh all the playlist titels (some stay like : 6ETU3vgxvJVEcMnSwH6GFt) and the page does not show the playlist where to select from. Hope you still have the time and motivation to have a look at this. This is such a basic tool spotify should have itself, so your program is really a life saver , like someone mentioned before !

@modstore ; strange thing ; i have 2 playmixify list with both 80+ playlist; both now refesh all the playlist and in both i can add a new playlist. Both appear underneath as 'new' . But in the one mixify i can save the list and i get the popup 'new list saved, you can now listen to it with a link to spotify. But on the other playlist, i do the same, but i don't get the popup that it is saved and when i check spotify it is indeed not saved with the new playlist added. Retried to save a couple of times but still the same. Next to the number of playlist (that are almost the same) the playlist who fails to update had +6000 songs, the other only 2500, could that be the problem? a max of number of songs?
