Moje otázka nebo problém
After the 24H2 update, and even after the other 24H2 patch updates, Spotify still doesn't work on my Windows 11 PC. The data is missing, it got lost somewhere during the update. It worked for a while, then stopped working again after the next update step. I uninstalled the app, downloaded a new one from the Microsoft Store, and reinstalled it, but it still doesn't work.
Hi there, @Elvira7,
Welcome to the Spotify Community!
It's worth checking if running the app as administrator in Compatibility mode for Windows 10 helps:
Something else that comes to mind is testing in Safe Mode with Networking. If you're using a VPN, I'd recommend disabling it.
In case it doesn't do the trick, do you get a specific error message when you launch the app? Could you share a screenshot which shows how things look on your end so we can have a closer look?
Let us know how it goes! 👍
HELLO, there was always a message that it couldn't be played at the moment. If you have it on your PC, you can import it here. But today, when I turned on my laptop, Spotify was working normally. I hope it lasts.
Spotify played for a while, then it didn't. Then I'll try again, I'm still using a Windows 10 laptop, Running as administrator didn't help.
Thanks for the response @Elvira7.
It's worth mentioning that there's other users that have come across the same error message and if Spotify plays for you for some time, but then the issue returns, there's something else that you could try.
I recommend having a look at the comments in this thread and specifically the info in this post. For some users, what helped is that in their Advanced Audio Settings they disabled any sound effects or enhancements that may be enabled at the moment. Could you also take a look at the Sound Settings on your PC?
Let us know if this helps 🙂
It helped me to change the frequency to 44.1 Hz
When my window version update has any issues with compdability or carryover support loss, i will always go here:

Also,

Cross reference the Spotify libraries(SDK) with any known issues and usually they will have the solution and workround, is not the complete solution and corrections in a format that most should be capable of following and completing!
GoodLuck!
