Hello everybody,
I have tried customer service three times. The first time I was assured that the problem will be resolved soon (and is being escalated), but sadly nothing happened.
The second and third times I was told they don't know and to try support email. I tried a few times but I always got back the same email in broken English and they never reply to any follow-up so I don't really know what else to do.
Last time writing to customer support I was told to try to reply to the no-reply Spotify email which to no surprise didn't work. So I am (helpfully understandably) frustrated and I don't really know where to turn now.
My issue:
I have now gotten three emails saying "It has come to Spotify’s attention that your account has engaged in unauthorized use of the Spotify service in violation of the Terms. Spotify has therefore removed the ability for one or more of your playlists to be available publicly."
Me and my friends have been doing these playlists for over three years and I am certain there is nothing "unauthorized" about them at all. Two of these were really small with only a few listeners, only the last one was somewhat bigger with maybe 100 listeners per month.
Is there anyone else I could write to who can actually help me?
Thank you in advance!
Hey @Mattia444,
Thanks for your reply and for the info shared.
In this case, we'd suggest checking your email so you can verify if perhaps you received a message regarding the behavior described.
Meanwhile, we'd recommend you create a copy of said playlist by going to the three-dot menu> Add to other playlist> Create new playlist.

bump ... i want to copy my playlist, hello
I received a notification where a playlist has been blocked from being viewed publicly. After reviewing the playlists and TOS, I have not found any content that should be violating and I have not received any substantial information regarding this matter. I tried contacting support about this issue but they have been rude and cut off conversations as soon as I mention this, while not answering me on whom I should contacnt to get this issue resolved
I have already tried Live Chat, @SpotifyCares, and the support email. These have given prewritten responses saying there is a detailed email containing more information about this, however I have not received such an email, only the one containing a notice lacking all the above mentioned by the support member. Who can I contact for getting this issue resolved? At least who can I contact to get more information regarding why that specific playlist was blocked?

my suggested solution to this issue is to leave and go to a different streamer, I've since put spotify on the backburner and started an Apple Music account. Spotify doesn’t care about people’s hard work being wasted on playlists that get falsely reported. I lost the same playlist twice and worked for days with support on various tickets to try and fix it. Nothing was resolved after a load of work and every ticket came to the same conclusion no matter how far it was escalated. “Sorry this happened to you, could you just copy the playlist and make a new one?”.
This is still an issue years later, I got an email from Spotify this morning that a playlist violated terms and conditions with no explanation of how/why. Reaching out to support did nothing. I suspect it's because I'm a high school teacher and play the same playlist in my classroom all day every day. So stupid
