My Question or Issue

So for a few weeks now, whatever songs or playlists I listen to, the usual 8 recent playlists don't update, instead I keep seeing only these two, which I haven't even listened to for months. I am listening to a lot of different playlists and I have also already tried reinstalling the app twice.

Hi @KeineKxmpetenz,

Thanks for the post.

Try logging our and back in twice in a row. This will force sync your account with the servers.

Also, check that Private Session is not enabled from the app settings.

Let us know if that help 🙂

same here it's the same since wednesday

i tried a new account, clear install, new device everything... can you guys fix it ?

Hey,
I've tried doing this and it did not fix my problem. However, I'm not sure if I actually got signed out completely because logging back in felt so easy. Do I need to do this on all connected devices?

Hi folks,

Thanks for the replies.

We'd need to go through some additional troubleshooting in order to get to the bottom of this.

Can you provide us with the following info:

  • Is this the same on all your devices?
  • Have you tried running a clean reinstall following this guide.
  • The model, OS version and Spotify version of an affected device.

@KeineKxmpetenz, it might be worth trying to log out everywhere. Follow this guide.

We'll be on the lookout for your replies.

Same problem here (on desktop, on mobile it cleared out after a couple of days).

Hey there @PleaseFixTheApp

Thanks for reaching out about this here in the Community.

Could you let us know which troubleshooting steps you've already tried? That way we can avoid any repeating steps.

Additionally, could you please provide us with the info @Alex requested previously?

We'll keep an eye out for your reply.

i already tried to log out from every device, try a new device, clear install, create a new account

-iPhone 11 Pro, iOS 15, 8.6.62

Can you please send ths to your technical team and fix it ? it's been more than one week

Can you provide us with the following info:

  • Is this the same on all your devices?

No, this only happens on my desktop spotify (2 separate computers). ios spotify is ok now (took a while but it disappeared after 3 or 4 days)

  • Have you tried running a clean reinstall following this guide.

Done that (clearing out the data in appcache). Also did a double signout/signin. Still there

  • The model, OS version and Spotify version of an affected device.

Windows 10 (both pc's), version is 1.1.68.632.g2b11de83 on one pc, can't check the other right now.

Hey @Alex!

Thanks for trying to help.

After performing a clean simultaneous reinstall on both my Android and Windows device, the problem remains. I have also logged out from all my devices using the link you provided me.

My Windows PC is self-built and running Windows 10 Pro version 21H1 and Spotify version

Spotify for Windows
1.1.68.632.g2b11de83

I previously used the version downloaded straight from your website but am now using the one from the Microsoft Store as the reinstall guide provided, in case that makes any difference.

My Android phone is a Google Pixel 4a running Android 11 and Spotify version

8.6.64.1081

Contacting customer support went: "We're continuing to pass on feedback about this on to the relevant team. We'd suggest keeping an eye out for future updates to the app for now, but can't guarantee this will fix the issue."

yeah they're lovely people but not too helpful

In no way, shape or form did this work
