Spotify not working unless online

My spotify does not work unless I'm online. Also I'd like to know how much it will cost to add my phone to my account.

This type of issue, when the app works properly only in online mode, is commonly related to some damaged cache stored on your device. So in this case, we'd first recommend performing a clean reinstall of the app by following the steps in this article, as this process will replace all damaged files and ensure you're running the latest version of the app. 

On another note, if your account was not created with a phone number, there's no current option to add it to your existing account. If you think other users would like this option too, you can post in our Ideas Exchange board so it can be voted on and eventually reach the relevant departments. We'd also recommend checking our guidelines first to avoid any early rejections.
