Playlist scrolling position resets when navigating away from the app

Hey folks,

We received some reports mentioning that the position on the playlists resets when navigating away from the app. This is currently Under investigation by internal teams.

Hey folks,

Thanks for your confirmations.

We’re happy to say that this should now be fixed for everyone with v. 9.0.44! Just make sure your app is updated to its latest version.

Cheers!

My Question or Issue

I've seen similar threads, but I'm still having the same issue with the current update of the App. I've tried uninstalling and clearing the cache, data, but it's still taking me to the top of my playlist. I can't save my position on any of my playlists. It's extremely annoying especially with my Liked Songs which is over 2000 songs.

It affects all of my playlist, the ones I have created :

- Xiaomi Mi14T Pro

- Android 15

- Spotify version : 9.0.36.697

this issue is there for like 1-2 years and still you didn't solve it. we are paying for a trash app

I gave up on Spotify fixing this issue, I rolled the app back to version 9.0.28.63 and disabled auto update. At least this is a work around until Spotify get round to fixing it.
