My Question or Issue

Yesterday I've been having this issue where if i search for something on the app, it always returns no results. Sometimes something will pop up but if i click away and go back it just shows the no results screen again. The web player also does this too. I've tried reinstalling the app, logging out, clearing the cache, and switching wifi networks.

Hey @thadz,

Thanks for posting in the Community.

If you're using a VPN, it's important to turn it off, as this can limit the functionality of our services.

Does this issue occur on a mobile device with a mobile data connection or the desktop device connected to the internet via a mobile hotspot from a phone?

What happens if you try using the search bar with a different account?

Keep us posted,

Cheers!

Hi, I have been having the same issue for a week now. I thought maybe it's because of my internet connection but that can't be it cause I have a rather fast internet connection and could watch 4k vids on youtube without issues at all. I restarted Spotify app a couple of times, even restarted my Mac. Same issue.

Device:
MacBook Pro M1 (2020)

Spotify for macOS (Apple Silicon)
1.1.88.612.gcc529952

Thanks!

Hey there @chicken_noodle

Thanks for reaching out about this.

First up, it's well worth running a clean reinstall to get rid of any cached files that might be causing trouble. This one is more thorough than the usual one.

If this doesn't do the trick, would you mind asking a friend or a relative to log in to their account in your PC to check if the same happens with a different account?

Also, we'd like to know if this happens across devices or only on your PC.

Keep us posted.
