Introduction

As soon as Spotify appeared in our country, I immediately decided to transfer all my tracks from other services and try premium, but I faced a number of problems. In addition to the fairly high price for premium, I faced a huge number of regional restrictions.
To the question of the premium price for comparison:

• Belarus: 1% of the average salary in the country
• US: 0.24% of the average salary in the country
• Ukraine: 1.26% of the average salary in the country
• Russia: 0.34% of the average salary in the country

Regional restrictions
I couldn't transfer about 20% of all my tracks because they are not available in our country. The absurdity of the whole situation is that a huge number of albums are not available only in our country. The meaning of the comparison presented above is that in all countries presented above there are no restrictions, and in all cases, except for Ukraine, the price is also more profitable than ours. Despite the high price I would be willing to pay for premium to get a quality service. At the moment, even with a premium, users in Belarus get the service not just with reduced functionality as in Russia and Ukraine, but also without the music itself. The point of this topic is not so much that an extremely strange pricing policy is used, but that even if there is a premium, users receive a third of the entire service.

The price for Premium varies across regions and is based on a variety of reasons. These can be differences in licensing agreements or other factors that allow us to bring Spotify to a given country in the first place and can be quite different from one region to another.

We appreciate your feedback and we always strive to offer Premium at a competitive price and will continue to do so. We recommend being on the lookout for special offers in your region and even if not using Premium, we hope that bringing our music catalog to people in new places across the world will help everyone discover new tunes and improve their music listening experience.

When it comes to the available tracks that we have, we're sorry to hear you're not able to find everything you wanted to see, but availability depends on the music's rights holders and we're always trying to add more songs in as many regions. We have a bit info here.
