Too frequent ads

I have been receiving the problem of too frequent ads of spotify premium and random singers and bands, which do not provide 30min ad free music. Seldom do I see the advertisement with 30min ad free music. Such disrupts the user experience on using spotify a lot.

As a **paid Spotify subscriber**, why am I STILL drowning in ads during podcasts? I’m not paying a monthly fee just to sit through the same obnoxious interruptions over and over. This is beyond unacceptable. Fix your service or stop charging people for a "premium" experience that's anything but!

My Question or Issue

Way too many ads. Sometimes after every song there's a couple of ads, spanning from 10 seconds to 30. Even without skipping songs - every 1 - 4 songs there's a couple of ads that seemingly last for ages. It's quite annoying, and any help would be appreciated.

Exactly the carelessness they practice with the free experience is the reason people **bleep**. It’s ridiculous that a third of my listening time is **bleep**ING ADS I LITERALLY GET AN AD EVERY TWO SONGS NOT ONLY THAT I GET THREE ADS THIS IS LUDICROUS.

I have this app on my phone I open it every 6 months to remind myself why I don't listen to Spotify. One song three ads, another song another three ads. No wonder I listen to Amazon no commercials if you're a prime member.

mi rivolgo alla community e al team di Spotify per esprimere il mio disappunto riguardo all'eccessiva frequenza delle interruzioni pubblicitarie durante l'ascolto delle playlist.

Comprendo che la pubblicità sia una fonte di sostentamento per il servizio, ma la quantità di annunci presenti nelle playlist, soprattutto durante attività che richiedono concentrazione o relax, risulta estremamente disturbante. Le continue interruzioni compromettono significativamente l'esperienza d'ascolto e rendono difficile godersi la musica.

Ho già provato a reinstallare l'applicazione, come suggerito nelle linee guida della community, ma il problema persiste.

Vorrei sapere se altri utenti riscontrano lo stesso problema e se esistono soluzioni alternative per ridurre o eliminare le interruzioni pubblicitarie, senza dover necessariamente passare a un abbonamento Premium.

Sarebbe utile conoscere se Spotify ha intenzione di apportare modifiche alla frequenza degli annunci o se esistono impostazioni specifiche per personalizzare l'esperienza pubblicitaria.

I was listening today whilst doing some cleaning and noticed alot of interruptions for ad breaks. I had two in quick succession and thought that was odd. Especially as one of those breaks include a message from Spotify saying "Enjoy 30 minutes of uninterrupted listening". So I kept track of the number of interruptions for ads I experienced. In the hour I was cleaning, I heard 7 interruptions (including the first two already mentioned) and during that time, I did not skip any songs. This is a far cry from the promise of 30 mins of uninterrupted listening.

As I am a Spotify Free subscriber, I understand ads are how Spotify and the artist gets paid, I am fine with that. However, I find the messaging regarding uninterrupted listening troubling. If this is a bug, please address it promptly so that the number of ad breaks is in line with your messaging. If there has been a change in policy, please correct your messaging to accurately reflect your policy.

Apologies if this is in the wrong place, this seemed like the best fit for my issue.

I would love to use Spotify for music, podcasts, and audiobooks but the podcasts on the Spotify app have way more ads than the Apple Podcast app or the Pocket Cast app on iOS.

Please get rid of all the extra ads. It ruins the podcast experience.

I will be using Pocket Cast for podcasts until this issue is fixed.

My Question or Issue

I've been getting an extreme number of ads, and not just the frequency - but the length of the ad breaks. I think the record is six 15 - 30 second ads in a row for you guys. It's been going on for a while, I assumed it was a small bug, but it hasn't gotten any better. It's extremely inconsistent, sometimes I get a couple songs before an ad, or sometimes I get a lengthy ad break after every 1 or 2. Whenever it says "You will receive 30 minutes of uninterrupted listening after this short ad break", there is like 2 - 6 long ads followed by a few songs, then more ads. It's really annoying and I can't find a solution anywhere.

Its still going on im having this issue. Even though its free we should be able to enjoy your service. Having ads ever two three songs isnt helping.

As of late, I’ve been receiving ads on every 2-3 songs, and it’s not just one ad. It can range from 2-5 simultaneous ads that I can’t skip, and each one is 30 seconds long and that’s basically 150 seconds worth of ads (2 1/2minutes). In order to listen to a song I would have to constantly close and open the app just so I can listen to the next song on my shuffle playlist which I can’t even toggle to not shuffle unless I have to pay for Spotify premium. I don’t have this issue on other devices though. Please look into this!

yeah ive been getting 3 ads every 5-10 minutes and i think its on purpose. theres no longer the 30m free listening ads i always kept hearing and now its all german?? no idea why spotify is getting so money hungry these days

so for me personally, its super annoying cos i like to listen to binaural beats when im studying but bc they’re so quiet, i hv to turn the volume up high. the ads are super loud and annoying and its not just the voice, the background music is also hella annoying. petition to actly fulfil the 30min of ad free listening cos in the past 2-3 days of listening to Spotify the whole day i have gotten more than 100 ads alrd and the 30min ad free doesn’t even work sometimes??
