My Question or Issue

I made a six-hour Best of Steve Earle playlist a few years back. I noticed it was all greyed out sometime last year and presumed he had pulled out of Spotify the way Joni Mitchell and Neil Young did. His politics and theirs are similar.

Then tonight a track from one of his studio albums came on during the “radio” after I played someone else's album. So I checked and there are lots of Steve Earle albums available on Spotify. I looked online and to my surprise I can’t find any mention of him boycotting Spotify, let alone doing that then coming back.

So the question is: why is my whole playlist greyed out? I'd hate to have to re-create from scratch. Here's the link:

Thanks in advance.

Hi @brianhancill!

Looks like the songs in your playlist are local files that are no longer stored on your device. Are they greyed out on all of your devices? If so, you'll have to import them again. Note that you may also need to add them to a new playlist in case they aren't syncing due to corrupted cache.

Hope you get this sorted out. The Community's always here if anything else comes up.

Cheers!
