My Question or Issue

My Spotify on my phone won't load any playlist, I've tried to uninstall reinstall, force quiting, clearing my cache, and restarting my phone multiple times. Nothing seems to fix it. I'm on the newest update and I've left the beta just in case but none of the playlists will load. I have tried everything from my end but I just get stuck in a loading loop.

Thanks for getting in touch about this here in the Community. 

 

Just to confirm, are you getting any error messages when you're trying to play your playlists? We're aware of some issues where Android users have been getting an error when accessing playlists and we had an Ongoing Issue about it, but it should be fixed now. If you're experiencing the same and the Beta version is still active on your end, could you try following the suggested steps in the Status update

 

If you're experiencing this issue with the non-Beta version, you mentioned that you've already reinstalled the Spotify app, but would you mind going through the steps of a clean reinstall, as it's more thorough than a normal one?


If this doesn't do the trick, would you mind sending us a short screen recording of the issue happening so we can take a closer look? You can attach it to your next response by using the Insert Video option in the post editor. You can also upload it to Google Drive and share the link with us (make sure the video has the permissions for anyone to see it).


Keep us posted on how it goes.

Okay so I've had a clean restart twice now I've left the beta as well.

Thanks for the video recording!

Could you let us know if the same behaviour can be observed when you open the playlists from 'Your Library' tab instead of the 'Recents' shelf?
We'd also like to ask for your current Spotify version, as well as the OS version operating on your device.
