can't remove or hide songs from automated playlists

Just like the title says, I'm currently unable to remove songs from my release radar and discover weekly playlists. The small "-" button that I would normally use for this just doesn't exist anymore. This issue exists on my PC, phone and on the web application, so I'm starting to think that this is not only limited to my account, anybody else got the same issue?

I am experiencing this issue as well on Windows. The Hide/Unhide track options were still an option a week or so ago.

I am experciencing this issue too... the hide / remove functionality in my release radar is gone for at least 2 or 3 weeks already. And i hate it! Please bring it back, because this renders auto generated playlists like release radar, discover weekly, etc. completely useless. Your algorithm keeps adding stuff i would never listen to... and it keeps adding stuff from some of those artists every damn week.

System I initially noticed the missing button: Lenovo T480S, Windows 10 (Spotify Version 1.1.98.691.gf759311c)

Other Systems the issue occurs: MacOS Monterey 12.6.1 (MacBook Air M2)

Using Android (OnePlus Nord2) the option to hide a song is hidden in the "three dots" menu... which isn't optimal either.

Same here I really wish they would bring it back. I shouldn't have to manually skip the songs I don't want to listen to every time they come around.

My Question or Issue

Missed dislike/hide button. This button just gone from the weekly playlists (Discovery Weekly and Release Radar). And I'm sure it's a serverside problem. I do not need an android app, I just want my desktop PC application back.

Tech support weren't able to help me twice.

ISSUE FACTS:

1) The button works on the others accouts, i.e. test or new one. The problem with a user profile, not a system.

2) Tried to do a clean reinstallation, it didn't help

I had some conversation with IT supports. They gave me two test accounts, and that button was there on the same PC/browser.

Also, they told me about "random tests being done on randomly selected users". Am I being tested on the production enviroment? Moreover, some new impovements about recomendation/dislike system made up. I hope it's true.

My friend also has the same version of spotify. the only difference is that he is a spotify premium user and i am part of a family plan.

Hello,

Today I noticed the dislike button gone from Discover Weekly and Release Radar playlists.
I did a clean uninstall - install, as suggested in a previously solved issue thread and it doesn't help.

Currently it seems impossible to leave negative feedback to recommended songs; impossible to hide disliked songs and recommendation engines won't work as good without taking negative feedback.

This has been an issue in the past, and spotify behaves like they would prefer not giving us dislike buttons. I'm a paid customer for 7 years and I feel like I don't want to pay a service which refuses to take my feedback for generating custom content for me.

Hope this gets fixed soon.

Hi , I have noted that Dislike button has disappeared in Release Radar playlist in Spotify Windows desktop app since last week. Is this a known issue?

Contacted Spotify on Tweeter but only received a seemingly automated response that I have spotted a new feature (?!) in Spotify?!

I've been using Spotify for years now and I've been using these two playlists all the time and I always use the dislike button. Now for about 2 weeks it's just gone I can't even dislike Songs I don't like anymore. Can someone help with the situation by the way I have used different PCs different phones and different websites and they all do the same thing

you can click the 3 dots at the right site of the songs on your phone, there's the only option right now to hide songs from your playlists, but the hidden songs don't transfer to PC

It's not an "improvement" to remove a feature people use and which has an important function. If we can't hide/dislike/remove songs or whole bands from Discover Weekly or Release Radar how can we improve the selection? The playlists will just get worse and worse as more songs we don't like get added. You may as well just get rid of those playlists entirely then.

I'm also missing the hide button on both my Windows 10 and Android mobile apps. Their recommended "Clean Reinstall" does nothing, and if they're actually "testing on random users", they can remove me from being a lab rat, because this change is a bad one!

There is no dislike button for songs inside the Discover Weekly and Release Radar playlists. There used to be one but it has disappeared. I can dislike songs on the phone app but not on windows.

Same her, I have it on iOS still, but now hidden away under 3 dots, but nothing on Mac app.

This is quite important feature, especially when you have kids or otherwise sometimes play songs you don't want to effect Discovery Weekly (when your account is used during a party for instance). The problem is amplified by not having access to private session on iOS app which could be the go to way of solving such issues also.

The "Remove"/"Don't Like" option seems to have disappeared from my Discover Weekly and Release Radar playlists, meaning I am no longer able to fine tune the algorithm to offer me songs that I might actually like in future. This was a great feature...is there a reason I can't see this anymore?
