how to share my playlist with another Spotify user

when following the directions in the "help" files - I cannot get the "three dots" (...) to show on the playlist when I right click on it for the Windows or the Android version of the app.

Hello @marksimmons!

 

Thanks for coming to the Spotify Community. The three dots button should show under your playlist title right next to the "Download" and "Add collaborators" buttons. Check out the screenshots below:

If you're still having trouble finding it, it would be helpful if you could include a screenshot in your reply of what your playlist view looks like.

But adding Collaborators will give them the option to add music to my playlist, no? I'm not trying to do that. 

I have the same issue. I don't have the persons personal contact info anywhere. He is following me on Spotify and I'd like to share one of my playlists with him. 

Anyone?

Hey @Telvislounge,

 

Sharing the playlist (three dots -> share) will not make the person who opens it a collaborator. This will only happen if you invite them to be one (three dots -> invite collaborators). Even if they are invited as one though, you will still be able to edit their access to "listener-only".
