[iOS][Podcasts] Make it possible to disable the “Next from: Episodes” feature

[iOS][Podcasts] Make it possible to disable the “Next from: Episodes” feature

Please make it possible to disable the “Next from: Episodes” feature

im sure some folks love it but I find it very broken

1. it often includes episodes already listened to or already in my queue

2. it seems to randomly pull in recent episodes rather than items from subscriptions I listen to the most

3. it’s painful to clear the “Next from: Episodes” section as there is no way to clear just that section quickly with a single button

4. clearing the items in “Next from: Episodes” individually will often cause them all to come back again once the last one is removed

all in all the queue feature is very buggy but I would like to fully disable the “Next from: Episodes” feature completely as it causes me more problems than it adds in convenience

Hey @boogieshafer!

Sorry for the late reply, we just came by this post. We've also moved it to the Help board where it fits better.

The "Next From" portion of the queue is formed when you hit play on an artist, album, playlist or a podcast from the remaining tracks/episodes you haven't played yet during the current session.

A workaround where there won't be any additional episodes added in the queue is to play the given podcast episode by clicking/tapping on its name. This would create a queue that consists of that episode only, so when you open the queue, the "Next From" portion will not show up.

Hope this clears things up. Cheers!
