As title says, every artist I try to add to my following list beyond the amount of 24, is being removed when I log back into Spotify.
as I understand , the maximum number of artists you can follow is 2000.
And before you ask, I've checked to see if the dropdown menu is set to RECENTLY ADDED, it NOT.
And another "before you ask" , It's happening with ALL artists , not specific ones, I've tried many.
I mainly use my PC (Windows 10) for Spotify.
Sometimes my Galaxy s10e ,But the issue is the same there.
Can someone explain this?

Just noticed, 24 is the exact number that you can fit in 1080p screen.
If I try to scroll down , there's nothing.

Turns out both my PC and Mobile apps were both outdated
After updating , the problem is now solved!

At the moment there's no limit to the amount of artists you can follow. Do you notice any pattern to when you try to add a new artist?
It's also a good idea to try logging in with a different Spotify account on your device to check if it's an account-related issue.

Hello, I am sure I followed an artist but my following count stayed at 1000 is this a bug?

Yeah, that sounds a bit odd. Have you already tried giving the app a quick reinstall? If it's a temporary error, that should do the trick!
