public playlists not displaying

so i really enjoy making all my playlists public, but recently i’ve found that any new playlist i make will not go public, regardless of me (many times) pressing make public. it will say it’s public when i do, but then it doesn’t show anywhere. i’ve tried on desktop, and on an external browser to view my profile when it’s set to public, and it’s not visible.

also, any past playlists i have made private when i now try to make public, fail to become public also despite the message saying ‘playlist now public’. and same issue, i look everywhere externally at my profile, and the playlists will not be there.

my past playlists which are untouched in terms of privacy settings are still showing. but obviously this is irritating as i really enjoy being able to show and share my playlists with others. i don’t think logging in and out again is going to fix this either? please can someone help. thank you!

Welcome to the Spotify Community!

Interesting. Could you try logging in on another device or on the Web Player and setting the playlists to public from there? In order for the playlists to show up on your profile, make sure you also select Add to profile afterwards.

I have similar issue. My playlist  is set public, should be shown on my profile, and i see it there. But my friends do not see it in my profile, they cannot access the playlist via URL... The playlist was available for them yesterday, but suddenly something changed...

Make sure you've followed all the steps mentioned by @Yordan and check if any playlist settings haven't changed.
Another thing that comes to mind is that your playlist might have been reported, in which case you'd have received an email from our end.
Check your spam folder just in case 🙂 

In case the issue persists, you can also reach out to our support folks, who can take a look at what's happened backstage.
