public playlists not displaying

so i really enjoy making all my playlists public, but recently i’ve found that any new playlist i make will not go public, regardless of me (many times) pressing make public. it will say it’s public when i do, but then it doesn’t show anywhere. i’ve tried on desktop, and on an external browser to view my profile when it’s set to public, and it’s not visible.
also, any past playlists i have made private when i now try to make public, fail to become public also despite the message saying ‘playlist now public’. and same issue, i look everywhere externally at my profile, and the playlists will not be there.
my past playlists which are untouched in terms of privacy settings are still showing. but obviously this is irritating as i really enjoy being able to show and share my playlists with others. i don’t think logging in and out again is going to fix this either? please can someone help. thank you!
