why is my spotify library not loading on one account but loading on another

why is my spotify library not loading on one account but loading on another

When I log onto spotify on one account , then the library bar doesn't load and I can't see my playlists. For example, when I log onto my main account, it says 'Something wrong. Try reloading your library'. But when I log onto another account like incognito or something, it suddenly starts working and I can see the library ba even though its the exact same spotify account. r. I tried everything including restarting my laptop, logging out, reconnecting wifi, and tapping the reload button. What do I do?

Are you testing this out with two accounts or with just one? You mentioned restarting your laptop, so is this only happening on desktop? 

 

Can you try performing a clean reinstall and logging back in afterwards? If the same issue occurs, it would be really helpful if you can send us a couple of screenshots of how it looks like on your end.

I have a similar issue, and i use browser, i have only tested using one account

Thanks for posting in the thread! Is it only your library that's not loading or other content as well and are you seeing any error messages?

 

Since you mentioned using Spotify in a browser, it's worth testing with the following:

  • Incognito-window.
  • Another browser.
  • Another network connection (Wi-Fi or mobile data shared via hotspot).
  • Disable any VPNs you may be using. 
  • If possible, download the app.
  • Another device.

Lastly, it would be helpful if you could give us some more info, such as if you noticed when this started happening for the first time, or if in case you're experiencing a different issue.
