Access to contacts on iPhone

Hello 

My wife is trying to share a playlist with me, however when she clicks to share via spotify, there are no contacts showing. 

Is there anyway of importing the contacts into Spotify or does it recognise contacts that also have Spotify accounts?

Sharing on the mobile apps only works with Facebook (so both her account and who she is sending too need to be connected to Facebook).
