For some reason I am unable to log in to spotify from the application. But oddly able to log in from the site. I changed my password to something simple to make sure I didn't incorrectly spell the password and that was not the case. please help.

Hi, and welcome to the community!

Although it's usually used for things like sonos, try getting yourself a device password and logging in with that.
