Add songs to playlists menu is chopped off [iPadOS (& maybe iOS )]

Add songs to playlists menu is chopped off [iPadOS (& maybe iOS )]

When I want to add/move ANY song to an playlist and click to the plus (/check if already added) or slide to the left side for my playlists menu the menu is chopped off to the extend that I can only see one playlist that's on the top of my list. This happens pretty often and it's pretty annoying because it occurs more than once I am the app that's on the latest version 9.0.62. To the me it happens when I'm on my iPad (iPad gen 10 that's on the lates iPadOS aswell: 18.5). I don’t know how to add a picture for proof.

Hey there @Kamil1a_acke,

Thanks for reaching out.

Just to confirm, have you already tried a clean reinstall of the app on your iPad? Also, is this behavior specific to your iPad or have you noticed it on your phone, for example?

It'd be helpful to have a screenshot of how things look from your end. You can attach it to your next response by using the Insert Photos option (the camera icon) in the post editor.

Keep us posted.

yes I’ve deleted my app before and it’s always on the latest update and I’ve only noticed it on my iPad especially often when I’m on my horizontal iPad format (could be a coincidence).

Hey @Kamil1a_acke,

Thanks for following up and for the screenshot!

The app behavior, similar to what you're describing, has been reported on the Community earlier in this thread. However, it should be fixed with a previous app update. Feel free to have a look at the linked thread to check if it's sound similar to you as well.

If the issue is persisting on your end, it would be great if you could give the following steps a try:

  1. Clear stored cache.
  2. Log out from the app with these steps.
  3. Restart your device.
  4. Open the Spotify app and sign back in again.

This is to make sure we cover all bases, as we haven't seen any new reports lately. It would also be helpful to know your current app version, as newer app versions have been released since the previous reply 🙂

Let us know how it goes!
