Airpods 2 weird behaving

Hi,

I have recently started using Spotify with my airpods and there is a behaving that is different then default airpods behaviour.

Apple officially says:

"AirPods also pause and resume playback when you remove one of your AirPods, or stop playback—and won't resume—when you remove both."

What is happening with my airpods and Spotify is that after taking both airpods music will stop but at the moment when I put them back together music will continue, so my question is is that normal or music shouldn't continue?
