Airpods next track doesn't work in Podcasts

My Question or Issue

I have my Airpods tap feature set to skip to the next track. When playing songs, this works as expected, and skips to the next song. When playing podcasts however, I expect this to skip ahead 15 seconds, but instead it does nothing. This did work until about a week ago! Did a latest release of Spotify break this feature?
