Scrolling through “your library” more than half of my album covers only show a grey cd instead of the cover art. But when I tap into the albums they show up correctly.

Hey @søtøpøkø,
Thanks for reaching out about this in the Community.
Sorry to hear that you're having such an experience with the app.
We'd recommend running a clean reinstall of the app. Please follow the steps from this Spotify Guide exactly, as this will assure that all app data is cleared completely, before reinstalling.
Also, make sure that the app is granted all permissions from your phone's app settings. These settings could be hindering the performance of the app.
Keep us posted on how you get on with this.
Cheers.
Edit: Alex mentions the same solution in the Spotify Guide link above, which I missed.
I was experiencing the same issue and fixed it doing the following.
FYI: I tried clearing the cache in the Spotify App, logging out and deleting the app with no luck.
Fix
go to settings -> general -> iPhone Storage
scroll down to Spotify and click on it. Select Offload App when finished Delete App from the same spot.
Reboot
When iOS is back up, Install Spotify and you should be good to go.
Thanks,
Marc
Hey @fogelnet,
Thanks for the reply.
Glad to hear this worked for you 🙂

Hello,
Just found this thread, I've been experiencing similar things on my Huawei P10, and doing a clean reinstall how it was stated above, didn't help. Is there any other things you can think about to fix this?
Thanks!
Hey @dexdaladoor,
Thanks for posting in the Community.
The described can happen also with large collections of albums in your account.
If this is the case on your end, you can try removing the albums from the library. The fastest way to do this is via the desktop app.
Did it help?
Keep us posted,
Cheers!
