Album Artwork not showing in "Now Playing" or Lockscreen

Relevant information before I detail the issue:
iPhone 6 Plus 128GB, iOS 8.1
Spotify Version: 2.0.0.1643

This applies to all songs & albums.

Album artwork is only displayed when the player is minimized (see attached screenshot).
In the Lockscreen and now playing "full screen mode" the album artwork is displayed as the generic music note which is indicative of a lack of album artwork (when there really should be)

Any assistance would be greatly appreciated!

Update: Upon further investigation I've figured out that this only occurs with music that has been made available offline (downloaded to the local device). Radio mode and playing music not available offline display album artwork without an issue.

Noticed this too.

It is only for offline tracks that have not been played (or some other track with the same artwork, i.e. the same Album) before they were set to offline.

This is REALLY frustrating!

Not only does the Artwork not display in full screen mode - it teases you when listing the tracks with a small preview at the bottom of the screen. Its like - Hey here is the album artwork, but i'm not going to let you see a full size version of it!!!

Version 2.1 is now out! All album art bugs should be fixed including the display of album art for local files.

I can confirm that Album Covers are now appearing as they should as far as I can tell, not tried in the car yet.  No need to re-download tracks either.
