All playlists deleted - please help

Hi there! I tried to upgrade my free account to paid student version (just became a student), and instead what happened was it chucked me out of spotify, and when I reset the password with the email that I used to registered, ALL of my playlists were gone. 

I immediately thought i had registered under a different account, but I checked all possible emails (don't have that many), and there was nothing. Please help. I tried restarting, and everything. Such awesome music was lost!
