I don't want spotify to use my cell phone data plan for I disabled it. Now I get is annoying message everytime I use the app "cellular data is turned off for spotify". As I did this on purpose how can I get this annoying message to stop coming up?

Well you kinda need data to stream music unless you are a premium member and downloaded the music.

Yes forgot to add, I'm a premium member. Won't be for much longer unless I get rid of this annoyance

Umm are you connected to wifi?

Yes I am, although it should matter. I have offline copies of the music I want to listen too

Hmm, try deleting the app and trying again

AlphaFoxWarfare, thanks for the input I will try it later.

Is there anyway to contact spotify to see what can be done? I can't find anywhere on thier site to do this. Is this what passes for customer service nowadays? Users have to help themselves with spotify collects cash from my premium account?

This is actually part of iOS that has been around since iOS 7.

There is no way to turn the popup off because it is part of iOS. Spotify can't control it.

Yes, Spotify does have a contact form:

https://www.spotify.com/about-us/contact/contact-spotify-support/

If you get an automated reply email telling you to check the help section or the community, you need to reply back to it.

Support usually replies within 24-48 hours.

Also, when you are on the go and not around WiFi,

go into the app settings and under "playback" turn on "offline mode"

That for sure would make sure the app doesn't use any cellular data.

That way you can turn celllular data back on to stop getting the stupid popup.
