App Crashing After Password Change

Description

Spotify app continues to crash after opening after changing password.

 

A more detailed description, using numbered steps

1. Logged into account on iPad.

2. Changed password via the Spotify Website.

3. Opened Spotify on iPad.

4. Automatically logged out then given message "Could not login to Spotify. Maybe you've changed or misspelled the password?" and unable to tap "Ok"...app crashes after 5 seconds or so.

5. Tried reopening the app and restarting the iPad several times but problem continues.

  

What I expected to happen

Able to click "Ok" and retype login details.

 

My iPad/iPhone model

iPad Mini - MD528LL/A

 

Device’s Operating System

7.0.4 (11B5554a)

 

Is your device jailbroken?

No.

 

My mobile Spotify version

0.9.1

Reinstall Spotify.

Ok, I've found an easy solution on another thread.

 

"Put your phone into airplane mode > Open spotify > Logout > Take airplane mode off > Log into spotify"

Same (or a related) problem here, save that:

 

1.  I'm using an iPhone 5 (also iOS 7.0.4)

 

2.  I don't even get to an error message - the app crashes almost instantaneously after launch (I see the loading "dots" for a couple of seconds and that's all).

 

3.  I've noticed that the app isn't crashing entirely - it keeps running in the background, but whenever I try to switch to it it crashes back to my homescreen.

 

This started happening immediately after I changed my password via the website. 

 

Spotify: what's going on?  I really don't want to have to reinstall the app and resync everything.  This is unimpressive behaviour from an app that should be pretty polished by now.

Same problem. Not cool when I'm paying £10 a month for this service!

Same problem. iPhone 4, iPhone 5S, and iPad. iOS 6 and 7.

 

Thanks for the reports guys, I'm escalating this now.
