App frozen on loading screen

Solved!

App frozen on loading screen

Just updated phone to newest iOS update. When I click to launch Spotify app it brings me to a black screen with the Spotify logo and does not load. It did flash back to my Home Screen once which made me think it was crashing. Tried on Wi-Fi and with phone data.

Finally found a solution that worked for me. Tried uninstalling/reinstalling iOS app with no fix. This time, I uninstalled, waited a minute, then shut down/rebooted the phone (power and volume buttons on iPhone 13 Pro Max, then slide to off). Waited a minute and turned the phone on. Then downloaded new Spotify app from App Store. Went to open the app and boom…. It’s all there again! Finally working!

Hey there,

In this case, we'd like you to know some users reported this behavior in this thread. We monitor said thread in order to gather info to pass to the right team, who are aware of this inconvenience. So, we recommend having a look at it and providing us there with the info we'll need to report it. You can find the details we'll need you to send us in the pinned message at the top of the thread.

If that doesn't fit your scenario, would you mind sending us the make/model and OS of the affected device along with the exact Spotify version you're running?
