My Question or Issue

I am a member in a family account created by my husband. My apple watch is linked to my account, that is a member of that said account. Lets call my account B and my husbands account, the plan manager, A. Installed spotify on my phone using account B and then installed it on the apple watch. When connected to the phone, the watch uses account B. But whenever I try to use the watch without the phone, it seems to be connected to account A, the plan manager. I tried installing and uninstalling spotify both on the phone and watch, numerous times, powercicling the phone and watch and it still default to Account A. My husband has a galaxy watch 5 and if we try to go on a run one of us will be without music. It only works if I take my phone with me (but I bought the watch so i wouldent have to). I read somewhere that spotify family plan only support one "watch" per plan.

Hi @cintialegnani,

Thanks for reaching out.

There is no such limitation about devices that can be connected to Family accounts, so this is most likely some kind of account conflict instead. I suggest both you and your husband log out of all devices using the Log Out Everywhere buttons on your respective account pages. Then, one at a time, log back into your devices and see if everything works as expected. I suggest you log into your phone and watch and test the behaviour first before your husband stars logging back in with his own account.

Hope this helps.

Thanks for the reply, this worked flawlessly. I`ve tryied uninstalling, rebooting reinstalling the app several times, but didn`t think about logging out from all devices.

My Question or Issue

I am one of four members on our premium family plan.  I have synced my Apple Watch Spotify app with my iPhone; however, when I open the app on my watch, another family plan member's library appears (not mine).  I have deleted and reinstalled the app from my watch multiple times, and at best my library will show there momentarily, before being replaced by the same member's library.  Most of the time it immediately defaults to this user's library.  Is there a fix for this?

I use an iPhone 12 and Apple Watch Ultra2 with Spotify. While whatever I play on my phone shows and can be controlled by my watch, when I go to access playlists on my watch I only see my wife's account and playlists. I am the main person on the account, so you think it would default to that but it doesn't. Have rebooted phone and watch, hard reset app on watch and phone, removed and added it back on watch, Any idea on how to get the back to my account would be appreciated.
